We bring a European level of expertise to the Middle East with a focus on clean, contemporary, colourful design sprinkled with humour, honesty and innovation. Out-of-the-box thinking and attention to detail ensure that we are at the forefront of contemporary design in the region. We are closely involved in the UAE art scene too - robotandspark successfully curated the UAE’s first custom toy exhibition at thejamjar gallery in Dubai in February 2009, as well as contributing work for various other collaborative art shows. We also design and produce our own line of limited edition apparel, including collectible toys, streetwear, jewellery and accessories.

Our digital services include: - Web Development - Desktop Applications - Web Applications - Consultation - Mobile Applications We build websites using PHP / HTML / CSS / JQuery and RIA Applications using Adobe Flex for the Web and Adobe AIR for the Desktop. Our consultation services include LCDS, Granite DS, Bojinx Framework and general architecture and setup. All our back-end services with the exception of HTML web sites are built using Java/Spring/Hibernate in conjunction with Blaze DS, Granite DS or LCDS when requested to support advanced features such as Data Streaming. We use different technologies when developing Mobile applications, based on your requirements we might use AIR Mobile, Objective C or Java.
We provide a production facilitating service to clients from abroad who wish to come to Dubai and film. We know the market, we know the local talent, we know the best ways to turn your storyboards into reality. We can facilitate television commercials, documentaries, short movies, viral campaigns and so much more. Our services include managing the production from start to finish, booking crew, hiring equipment, presenting locations, proposing cast, booking accommodation and flights etc (so that when clients arrive everything is ready and organized for the shoot). If needed, we can also provide the regions' leading directors and DOPS. We also offer local production services to production companies or clients who need a producer to handle or assist with their project. Our clients include: Brag Limited, City Films Beirut and Onside Consulting South Africa, while our Head of Production, Nadine Gibbs, has production managed for Nissan, GM, Kellogg's, NCB, Hardees, Mobily, Dubai Pearl, Dubai Sports, Madinaty, Galaxy and Panadol and more recently (before starting robotandspark) was Head of Production at MTV Arabia.

We created the website to provide information into the company activities but also to showcase the brands and products that Polymor works with.
ArtintheCity is an umbrella project that unites arts and culture in the UAE through a comprehensive website, a listings publication and the ArtBus acting as a platform for the UAE arts and culture scene to a local and international audience.
We completely redesigned the look and feel of the website to sit more in-line with the AITC branding, and to offer a more sophisticated and mature insight into the regional art scene.
The Brokers Lounge is a new concept in real estate investment, allowing clients to trade in a stylish, friendly, relaxed style environment more akin to a trendy boutique than a stuffy, corporate office.
Our task was to create a slick, sexy website that encompassed all of these things. The colour scheme was kept to a super-sophisticated black and white with minimal splashes of colour while the hand-drawn cityscapes added a very human element to the user experience.
The Digg reader android application is built in Air Mobile and lets you browse the digg.com website and manage your favourite topics in a mobile friendly way. It is a proof of concept that could be released in the Android store at some point.
Bring Your Nemesis is the website that accompanies the upcoming exhibition curated by robotandspark.
Built in Flash, the animation of the site resembles a futuristic computer virus - big black graphics flickering on a bold yellow background. The site showcases the artists participating as well as giving the viewer a glimpse of the Irezumi Girls - on which the exhibition is being based.
Baby Boy Baby Tees is robotandspark’s very own line of designer apparel for children.
The website is bright, bold, colourful and fun, (just like the shirts!) appealing to children and adults alike - showcasing all the shirt’s designs plus providing information about future collections and press releases. Social networking as standard, the site features a download section of all the artwork for various sizes and platforms.
ISI Sports Investment is a company that works within the football community across various platforms. Based in the United Arab Emirates, the ISI reach extends across the Middle East and North Africa, throughout Europe and Australia.
The website is a combination of Flash and HTML, and was built so that the ISI team could update the content as easily and frequently as they wanted.
The Little Luxuries website was built to showcase the stores product line, keep their customers in the loop with any news or upcoming offers and to provide an insight into the brand for first-time viewers of the site. The site was built using a combination of Flash and HTML, and a control panel was created so that the site could be easily updated by the Little Luxuries team.
Bojinx is an open source framework for developing Web, Dekstop and Mobile applications based on the ActionScript 3 programming language. It allows for faster development and better decoupling of code.
We provide paid support and consultation for companies that would like to use Bojinx as their application framework.

The Yas Island Show Weekends website was created to provide a complete insight into the YISW campaign - from artist profiles and descriptions of the free events, to information on the hotel packages and a comprehensive overview map of Yas Island and the accompanying events.
The visual style of the site followed on directly from the press ads and all the below-the-line collateral from the campaign.
The website was designed to launch the new brand LOCAL, created by Dubai-based design entrepreneur Rami Farook and showcase the range of limited edition pieces of art furniture available.
Clean, simple with a distinctly European minimalism, the LOCAL website was launched for the brands debut at Zona Tortona, Milan in 2010.
Thejamjar website was redesigned by robotandspark to fully incorporate the galleries expanding list of activities, including studio space, gallery events, consulting and corporate services.
The slick, new user interface followed the galleries new identity while remaining functional and easy to navigate. A new element of the website was to incorporate a news section on the homepage, that allowed viewers to be kept constantly up-to-date with what was on at the gallery.
The Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2010 website was created with a very distinct aim – to make the user experience work on a multi-sensory level, with vibrant punchy backgrounds animating live to a dance soundtrack, while the chunky and blocky graphics emulated the feeling of being at a Creamfields festival.
The website contained all the information related to the event, as well as profiling the performing DJ’s with biographies and videos.
